Sept. 11, 2020
Dear Residents:
Given an anticipated above average hurricane season, the Mossy Oaks Project is accelerating improvements to the storm drainage system throughout the Mossy Oaks neighborhood. To accommodate the improved drainage system, some water lines must be relocated on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Specifically, the homes shaded in red below on Battery Creek Road, First Boulevard, and South Royal Oaks will experience water service interruptions from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Mossy Oaks Project team deeply appreciates your patience and understanding as these long-needed improvements are made. These improvements, while somewhat disruptive in the short term, will significantly improve the quality of life of those who are affected by repetitive flooding in the long term. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the on-site inspector, Al Tempest, or me directly at npugliese@cityofbeaufort.org and we will do our very best to address your issues as rapidly as possible.
