2019 BUSINESS LICENSE RENEWAL NOTICE
The City of Beaufort would like to remind all businesses located or conducting business within the incorporated limits of the City of Beaufort that business license renewals are due by April 15, 2019.
Business Licenses renewed after April 15th will be considered delinquent and subject to the following penalties, compounded monthly:
April 16 – April 30 - 15% May 1 – May 31 - 15%
June 1 – June 30 - 10% July 1 – July 31 - 10%
An additional 5% penalty will be assessed on the 1st of every month thereafter.
Failure to receive a business license renewal application does not relieve you of the responsibility of paying the business license fee. If you are no longer in business, please contact the Business License office so that we may remove your business from our mailing list.
