University of South Carolina--Beaufort
USCB is South Carolina's newest accredited
four-year university. Offering six Bachelor's Degree programs and a
number of Associate's Degree programs, USCB provides employers with a
flexible programming schedule, designed to meet the needs of any working
student.
Degree programs in Business Management and
Hospitality Management offer your employees a chance to learn in a real-world setting
with some of America's top companies in the Southeast's premier tourist
destination.
Additionally, USCB offers a number of
specialized continuing education programs. These are designed to

Technical College of the Lowcountry
TCL is one of South Carolina's oldest and most
respected technical academic institutions. The College offers a number of
Associate's Degree programs including Building Construction Technology,
Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Technology,
Industrial Electronics Technology, Nursing (ADN), Radiology Technology, and
a host of others.
In addition to these programs, the College
offers specialized training opportunities designed to meet specific client

Public Secondary Programs
Beaufort County Public School District sponsors the
Academy for Career Excellence, offering rigorous occupational and technical
training in 22 programs including: Culinary Arts, Graphic
Communications, Auto Body Technology, Pre-Engineering Technology, Computer
Technology and Cisco Networking, among others. Students from grades 10-12
are accepted to ACE programs from each of the school district’s high
schools.

Other Workforce Development Assistance
The Center for Accelerated Training, a program
of the South Carolina Department of Commerce, provides recruiting,
assessment, training development, and management and implementation services
to companies who are creating new jobs with competitive wages and benefits.
These services are provided through state funds at minimal or no cost and
training is developed to meet specific requirements of each customer.
Training may be delivered through pre-employment or on the job activities
dependent on the time frames and individual needs of the customer.
