Judge Mary Sharp Mary E. Sharp has served as a
part-time Municipal Court Judge since May, 2000. She also practices
full-time, with the Beaufort firm, Griffith, Sadler and Sharp, P.A. In
her law practice, she concentrates on civil litigation, including the
areas of automobile liability, premises liability, products liability,
general tort liability, construction litigation and insurance disputes.
Judge Sharp received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Carolina
State University and her Juris Doctor from the Wake Forest University
School of Law. While at Wake Forest, Judge Sharp served as an Executive
Board Member of the Moot Court Board and as Vice-President of the
Student Trial Bar. She was a member of the Justice Joseph Branch
American Inn of Court. Judge Sharp has also taught introductory law and
ethics and legal research and writing classes to paralegals in training
at the Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort. She is licensed
to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina.
