The Beaufort Shrimp Festival
The Lowcountry has so much to offer, beautiful coastlines, rich history, and shrimp! This festival celebrates all of those (but mostly the latter).
The Beaufort Shrimp Festival is held each October in Beaufort’s beautiful Waterfront Park. There is always music, events, fun and, of course, more ways to enjoy the freshest, finest shrimp anywhere.
Free public concerts feature local and national bands of all types. Events include the blessing of the fleet, a golf tournament, and a 5K run/walk.
Of course the center of the festival is all the delicious shrimp! Many of our favorite local restaurants serve up their own special shrimp recipes as well as other delectable examples of Lowcountry cuisine.
