Captain Lee was hired as a patrol officer on July 1, 1982.  He worked as a patrol officer until 1984 when he was promoted to the rank of Corporal.  In 1986 he was promoted to the rank of patrol sergeant.  He remained a patrol sergeant until 1997 at which time he received a promotion to lieutenant in community policing programs.  In 1999 he received a promotion to captain in charge of the department operations division.  Captain Lee currently works in the department administrative division where he has served since 2000.
