City of Beaufort to hold 2-day retreat

BEAUFORT, S.C. – Elected officials and department heads from the City of Beaufort will hold a two-day retreat on March 22-23 at the Sea Island Best Western in downtown Beaufort. The purpose of the retreat is to review the City’s 2020-2022 Strategic Plan and determine any new goals. The City’s Capital Improvement Plan and draft Comprehensive Plan update will also be reviewed.

The retreat facilitator is Charlie Barrineau, field services manager at the Municipal Association of South Carolina.

The retreat will be live-streamed on the City’s Facebook page. There will be limited public seating at the Best Western, available on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees will be required to sign a Covid-19 waiver from the hotel and must wear a mask indoors.
