BEAUFORT, S.C. (June 18, 2025) – City of Beaufort offices will be closed on Thursday June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.
Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and marks a significant moment in our nation’s history. The City encourages all residents to take this time to reflect on the importance of freedom, equality, and justice for all.
Normal business operations will resume on Friday, June 20.
