[ARCHIVED] City offices to close Monday for MLK holiday

BEAUFORT, S.C.  (Jan. 17, 2025) –  The City of Beaufort offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

A parade honoring Dr. King is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Monday. It will proceed from Adventure Street to Boundary to Carteret and Bay Streets. The parade is sponsored by the Beaufort County Ministerial Alliance.

Please consider the difference you can make on Jan. 20, Dr. King’s Day of Service.
