BEAUFORT, S.C. – The Beaufort Police Department is seeking opportunities to continue working with community members to determine ways that improve the quality of life within our communities. To this end, the Police Department is seeking members of our community to work with us on a Community Advisory Committee to discuss future opportunities and programs.
The advisory committee will be comprised of five members, either residents of the city or those who own/operate a business within the city limits. Members will periodically meet with the Chief Dale McDorman, Deputy Chief Darrell Gruel and other members of the staff to discuss projects and any areas within the City of Beaufort that could benefit from future programs and activities.
If you would like to join the Police Department in improving our service to the community as a member of the committee, please email a brief introduction including your address and any ideas that you believe you can bring to the table for consideration.
