[ARCHIVED] Commerce Park spec building groundbreaking set for Aug. 4

BEAUFORT, S.C. –  A  ceremonial groundbreaking to mark the construction of a Class A spec building at Beaufort Commerce Park will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4. The address is 74 Schein Loop, Beaufort.

The building will be 64,000 square feet when completed and will offer options to subdivide to as small as 16,000 square feet. 

Magnus Development Partners, which specializes in industrial real estate, is building the facility. The building is expected to open in the first quarter of 2022. The Beaufort County Economic Development Corporation has worked with the City of Beaufort, which owns Commerce Park, to spur additional interest in the 196-acre industrial park. Two new companies -- Glass WRX and Material Research Group – are in various stages of development at the park.

About the Beaufort Commerce Park:

The Beaufort Commerce Park, which is owned by the City of Beaufort, is comprised of 196 acres just off U.S. Highway 21 and S.C. Highway 116. It is 20 minutes from Interstate 95, and a short distance to Charleston and Savannah international airports and ports.
