To begin the appeal process, you must obtain obtain a Notice of Appeal form from the Municipal Court Clerk's Office. You should complete the form and make three copies. All three copies should be time stamped by the Circuit Court Clerk's Office. That office should retain one copy, one copy should be taken to the Municipal Court Clerk's Office, and one copy should be retained for your records.
Notice of Appeal must be delivered to the Municipal Court Clerk within 10 days after your court date. An appeal bond must be posted until the final disposition of your appeal hearing.
You will be notified by the Circuit Court Clerk's office as to your hearing for your appeal.
